Tea Basket

Recently, I've been posting pictures of basket that I'm creating for different events and silent auctions. The last basket that I've created is a tea basket for the Victorian Ladies Society's Annual Tea. In this basket I included a very cute white elephant teapot, a pink Starbucks mug and saucer, a teapot cookie cutter with a scone recipe, biscotti and a few little tea related odds and ends. I also included copies of my two Harlequin Historical novels Engagement of Convenience and Rescued from Ruin.

My favorite part of the basket is the teapot. It is so cute and I almost considered keeping it, but I already have two teapots that don't get enough use.

If you like tea and books then you will love my novels. They have both tea and books in them. www.Georgie-Lee.com

Tea parties are so cute and fun. I'd love to be able to do one with a daughter. :) I was looking forward to seeing a post from you on the history of Mother's Day. I think I've seen a post like this from you on the history of a holiday each time we come up on it. I'm sure you've written one before. It's what I think of and look forward to the most when coming to your blog! Thanks so much for sharing this awesome basket with us at Countdown in Style!

The child in will make gift baskets a great idea for a gift, or to tempt bidders at silent auctions. I think it reminds us of our Christmas stockings and Easter baskets, because it's one gift that really is what feels like a thousand. You seem to have the knack for making them awesome too.

*-Glad I found your post through the Ketchup With Us linkup.
