In my previous Books and Baskets post (read about it here), I discussed the family night at the movies basket I put together for my church's Mardi Gras silent auction.
Thanks to the wonderful people at Random House, I won a box of books and goodies through one of their giveaways. I love books, but as I tore through the box, I realized that there was no way I was going to get through all these books. My TBR pile is pretty full, so I started wondering what I could do with a few of my winnings. The solution? Create another basket for the silent auction. I call this one my Bucket O'Beefcake, or the over 18 basket. It contains wine, wine glasses, chocolate, bubble bath and four spicy books. Just in time for Valentine's Day.
To compliment the beekcake, I purchased a bottle of wine from World Market. I don't know anything about wine, so I chose one with a pretty bottle that also happened to be on sale. Score! Then I visited Dollar Tree where I picked up the red tub and the two wine glasses. The chocolate, bubble bath and hand cream I already had from a previous after Christmas purchase. I love clearance sales!
I hope people like this basket as much as they like the other one. It certainly has some eyes catching elements.
